-How long until I get my pictures back? My turnaround depends on the time of season with May/June and Oct/Nov being the busiest. It is typically 2-3 weeks for portrait sessions and 4-6 weeks for weddings. I promise if I have your pictures ready I will give them to you. :) I’m just as excited as you are!

-Can I have the RAW images? No. My art includes the shoot all the way to the final edits. I do not give an unfinished product.

-I found this picture on Pinterest that I really like and want to replicate. Can you do that? No. While I think Pinterest is awesome for inspiration, help with clothing selections, and general prettiness I will not replicate a bunch of images your might send me. Why? First of all that is someone else’s work. Secondly, the best moments are REAL moments and HONEST moments with you and the ones  you love. If we are constantly trying to recreate something you saw somewhere else, you will miss the beauty that is right in front of you. I want to document YOU and the ones you love.

-How far in advance do I need to schedule? Portrait sessions are typically booked 2-4 months ahead of time. So plan ahead! Especially for busy seasons! Weddings are booked out a 6-12 months ahead. That being said, always check because you never know!!

-How many weddings do you shoot a year? 10-15

-Do you offer mini sessions? Very rarely do I do this.... I have found that my best work comes when I have time with you and the ones you love. To be able to get to know you and not be rushed is essential to delivering work that I am proud of. My portrait sessions last up to 1.5 hours and are not rushed.

-Do I get the digital images? Yes, every portrait and wedding collections includes the digital images w/ reproduction rights.

-Can I order prints, albums, or canvases? Yes! The gallery I send you has wonderful print options and if you are needing a custom album I can help!

-What is your cancellation policy? Your retainer is non-refundable, but if you reschedule a portrait session 48 hours prior to your session, your deposit may be used for a future session within ONE year of the original booked date. Weddings are non-refundable/non-transferable once paid in full.

-Do you reschedule for bad weather? If its a downpour yes. If its hot as hell no. I do not reschedule for temperature or cloudy days.

-How do I book my wedding? First, fill out form on my contact page or email me at jessica@piscitellophotography.com so we can connect and find out if we are a good fit. Tell me about yourself. Tell me why you love your fiancé! Tell me what you like to do together. Basically, tell me everything. Tell me why your wedding will be awesome and why I should shoot it! Once you are ready to book, we will write up a fancy contract, I will send you a retainer invoice (that is applied to your balance) and then the ball is in your court! I do not hold dates until your retainer fee is paid. This secures your date and the remainder of your payment is due one month prior to your wedding date. Let’s do this!

-Do you travel for sessions/weddings? YES! Shoot me an email and I will send your detailed travel rates!

-What equipment do you use? I am a Canon girl all the way!  Canon 5D Mark iv, 50mm 1.2, 85mm 1.2, 24-70 2.8

-Do you offer mentoring/workshops? Currently I am not offering any type of mentoring.

-I emailed you an hour ago and haven’t heard back? Whyyyyy are you taking so long? I do my best to respond in 24-48 hours, but sometimes life just happens. We live in such an instant gratification world that we want what we want, when we want it daggumit and unfortunately that is not always possible. In order to give you the most personal experience I can, I handle all of my email. During busy seasons my response time varies due to my schedule that week. I answer emails Monday-Thursday and give myself a break on the weekends because that is when I am shooting & spending time with my family!
